“Here at SCN, We are going to ask you to not look at your role as a coach or coach of Coaches (AD’s) as the world does, but from an eternal perspective where coaching is a higher calling where you will be asked to to be a coach who shepherds & disciples your flock- athletes and coaching staff.

• MISSION: Produce exemplary disciples (coaches & athletes) through participation in athletics who can live, love, and lead with biblical character!

• Director for Christian baseball camp in NJ for 18 yrs.
• Traveled with Score International Missions to the DR on numerous baseball trips.
• Served as a chaplain with Baseball Chapel for 20+ years for the AA team in Jackson,TN
• Served as a chaplain for Union University baseball team
• Married for 34 years and 5 children.

Delvyn has been married to his wife Nadja for 23 years, and they have two children named Cade and Cyrus. Additionally, Delvyn has a daughter named Brionna. He is an author, poet, and a certified family life coach specializing in responsible fatherhood. As a preventative facilitator for youth, fathers, and families, he conducts programs that assist fathers and families in schools, community centers, juvenile detention centers, correctional facilities, and faith-based organizations. Delvyn creates innovative strategies to engage individuals within their communities and connects them to resources that improve their physical, economic, mental, and spiritual well-being. Featured in the International PBS Documentary titled “Teaching Fatherhood,”Delvyn has also worked as a House Parent for six years, caring for over one hundred and thirty children from the Arizona Department of Child and Safety. Appointed by the Governor of Arizona, he currently serves as a Commissioner for Arizona’s Parent Commission on Drug Education and Prevention. Delvyn hosts the THRIVE morning show on The Heat 97.3FM, where he uses his platform to engage listeners through healthy discussions, music, spoken word, inspirational stories, and various content that steers his audience towards hope. In his free time, Delvyn enjoys spending time with his immediate and extended family, watching or playing sports, recording music in the studio, and trying new foods.
